My life has been a grand adventure across the globe. Born and raised amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Christchurch, New Zealand, my heart has always been tied to the beauty of the natural world and the power of a good story.

Before my 28-year career in the legal world of Austin, Texas, I spent my days in the classroom. As an elementary school teacher in Sydney, Winnipeg, and Austin, I saw firsthand how a spark of imagination could light up a child’s eyes. That love for storytelling and my desire to inspire young minds is the heartbeat behind Amazing Moonshine McPool.

After many years in Texas and California, I’ve recently settled in the Colorado mountains. The views here remind me so much of my South New Zealand roots—the perfect place to dream up “unordinary” new adventures.
